Nick, I hope that won't prevent you from voting for one of them in November...they're still scared of the Willie Horton thing that Bush the First did to Dukakis. Can't look "soft on crime." I too wish that they spoke out against the death penalty but I guess it won't happen.
There are still a lot of Democratic stances which are objectionable to me - for one thing, I support gay marriage, not only civil unions, and yet none of the three Democratic candidates supports gay marriage. But at least they are pro-civil-union.
We can't always get what we want...but we have to at least get what we need - which is a Democrat for President.
