The air from Georgia makes it hard to see clearly. It reaches into my body and scratches its way back out, leaving sharp scars that never heal.
I long for more.
Pain in me.

"Why Georgia, Why" - Van Gogh Knew
(The smoke drifting in from the fires in the Okefenokee and Florida is also very irritating)
OUCH-y!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, not much good blows in from Georgia on a good day, much less now.
I hear the air is really clear up in Canada though ;-).
Ohhhh, I know. It is rough. I feel so bad for everyone who has to endure that. It's really a medical problem for some. I could see the people in Ga looked so haggard and worn down with this thing. Rain! We need rain desperately.
ReplyDeleteWhen I lived in Houston, every Spring we would have WEEKS of smoky skies as a result of the prevailing winds blowing in the smoke from the yearly crop burnings in Mexico.
ReplyDeleteIt was hell, so I DO sympathize with you.
Sux.
It's freezing here today. I needed to put a jacket on. I guess there is no prefect place, right?
ReplyDeleteLove you my friend!
XOXOXOXOX

Ugh! Does air conditioning provide any relief? Goggles?
ReplyDeleteWe've got extra rain. Wish i could send it over there.
Georgia.
ReplyDeleteThe bible belt..
Never mind...
I was going to leave a comment on the lurker post, but since it was older and I can totally relate to this post on the nasty air from Georgia, I thought I'd delurk here.
ReplyDeleteSo hi. Sorry for the bad air. It's worse when we've all eaten pinto beans for supper.
Lovely - first time in and I'm making fart jokes. Back to lurking.
